The Wheelchair Ramp Accessibility Program (WRAP) provides timely home access to people in need. We are a coalition of volunteers and service organizations who work together to build custom wheelchair ramps giving people with limited mobility the freedom to easily enter and leave their homes. Watch us in action! WRAP volunteers offer free labor and, if needed, help clients find financial assistance for building materials. We also assist with repairs after the ramp is installed. Help us spread the word! On average nearly 50% of people in wheelchairs use steps or stairs to gain entrance into their homes, and there’s a growing need in Linn County for our services. Refer your clients and help us give mobility independence back to those in their homes. If you have a client who could benefit from our services, check out our Getting Started. Section for information on the process. We’re happy to provide brochures and additional literature for you to make available to others.

Build a Ramp. And Have Some Fun. Just four to eight hours is all it takes to change someone’s life. And yours. The people who contact WRAP cannot enter and exit their homes on their own. Some are suddenly injured. Some suffer from chronic illness. Some just have trouble walking. And many don’t have the finances available to cover the high costs of adding a wheelchair ramp onto their house. Join us. Volunteer your time. You will give someone their freedom back. And you will feel great doing it.
