Wrenthorpe Park and Alverthorpe Meadows

Encircled by the residential suburbs of north-. West Wakefield lies this remarkable survival of earlier times. The green area is made up in approximately equal parts of Wrenthorpe Park, Alverthorpe Meadows and school playing fields, and lies in a shallow valley drained by Balne Beck on its way south-.
