Thursday, October 27, 2005. We had Erik's two week check-up today and it's a good thing we did. While I was nursing at the office I noticed Erik's middle finger was very red and swollen. It's infected, possibly from an ingrown fingernail. Yikes! We manged to get to Target and buy a boppy. Erik sat in it for quite a long time while he was wide awake and seemed to enjoy it. Thank goodness! We're ready to go out on our very first walk with the stroller. Bath time is NOT fun time. Posted by Mamma C at 2:22 PM.

Thursday, November 24, 2005. Mike's dad, Mike and Erik are content after a big Thanksgiving dinner. I got Erik a really cute Christmas outfit, but it's still way too big for him in this picture. A happy family on Thanksgiving day! Erik knows how to smile know, but it is hard to catch on camera. It's almost there! He's got the Elvis lip going on here. He loves his bath time these days. Tuesday, July 25, 2006. Here are a few pictures from the trip. I'll try to post more later. He spent many hours in the swing in my parent's backyard. He fell asleep one afternoon and looked like such a little fisherman with his hat that we had to give him a fishing pole to complete the look. I am such a bad, bad mommy to take pictures of his abject humilation. He had to borrow his cousin's bib and I thought it looked cute on him. I totally love the bib, mainly because it keeps his clothes clean!

Sunday, December 25, 2005. What is this thing? What am I supposed to do with it? See why we didn't get the boy presents? He doesn't know how to get excited. The insides of the present! Monday, January 16, 2006. He's getting a head start on computering. He loves the sound the keyboard makes when he types. He also loves to stand up even though he has no balance. He doesn't mind if Mama helps him a little, but he likes to "jump" unexpectedly, the silly boy. His Superman Flying Position looks even more super-hero-ish when he has his drool-catcher on backwards.
