WAR DEPARTMENT BOGIE KIT. This is a kit in white-metal complete with rods, wire and wheelsets that builds into a pair of accurate, strong and heavy bogies. Including p and p. (pair). PECHOT SYSTEM CRANE KIT. 10th Artillerie 88 crane. This white metal kit is complete with strip metal, wire, rods and fastenings. Carefully built, the crane is an operating model. KERR STUART 0-4-2 CORRIS RAILWAY. This locomotive is an accurate model of the locomotive which Kerr Stuart supplied to the 2’3” gauge Corris Railway in 1920. It is mechanically identical to our Tattoo class locomotives but is much narrower and less tall. The most noticeable difference is that it is inside framed. Please read our terms of trade. The price you pay is fixed at the time that the batch is put into production. The price of the current batch (note our terms of trade) is £1760.

Over the years we have built accurate replicas of War Department Baldwin 4-6-0s that were supplied after the first World War to the Ashover Railway, Snailbeach, Welsh Highland and Glyn Valley Tramway. These engines were all carefully researched and additional detail castings and plate-work manufactured where required.

Highland Railway Small Ben. Painted Figures For Sale. Thursday, 27 August 2015. A Driver for a HR Yankee Tank. Yankee Tank Driver about 1900. I used this photo of the driver of HR14 as the basis of my own 1:43 scale model. The driver here is standing on the fireman's side of the engine however, so I had to model him on the other side. Apart from his cap there doesn't seem to be any clothing that could be described as a uniform, he's dressed in his own working clothes. Yankee Tank Driver in 1:43 scale.

I ordered some conductive paint from Maplins to experiment with as I thought it might be a quick way of shorting the bogie wheels on the return side. However my impatience got the better of me and, though I know it's in the post, I did the job the conventional way just now with a wire soldered between brass centre and rim, running in a groove cut behind the wheels.
