A three-hour bus ride from Busan can take you into Jirisan National Park, a mountainous region that has been dubbed "Korea's first national park." The autumn leaves drew us to this place. My family raised me to travel. My dad took my siblings and I to see all 50 states as children and I’ve found a man to marry who shares my wanderlust. A writer's view. Leave a comment ». Nature isn’t showy in the part of south Wales where I live. Or shone upon. But it is here, going about its business quietly and purposefully, a little mysteriously perhaps. Definitely underrated. It struggles, it seems to me. While I’m sure there are defeats, I can only hope it is winning although I don’t know enough to weigh the balance. I spend time walking up here and down there. I like looking closely, being closer as nature is caught up, tumbled out and set free.
