Mammoth - Sonora Pass. July 10, 2016. July 10, 2016. So I’m trying to play blog catch-up here in South Lake Tahoe and I don’t have a ton of time. I realized I actually did a decent job of taking pictures for this section so this will be a photographic essay. I’ll tell the stories by showing you pictures and captioning them. Sound good? Devil’s postpile alternate coming out of Mammoth. They’re called columnar basalt rocks or something like that. Pretty cool. Another beautiful lake on the JMT section.

Tuesday, August 4, 2015. MONDAY AND BACK FOR DAILY FRONT PORCH - PRESCOTT, ARIZONA. We have been to Prescott 3 times, from early 2000 with the last time being in June of 2012. When we go to Prescott we also drive about an hour away to spend a day or two in Sedona. I love being in both of these places. I'll share a few future posts about Prescott with some pics from the area. Love the colorful displays. Any anything Van Gogh - stops me in my tracks.
