If you have high blood pressure, and you are a soda pop drinker, you might want to really think twice about drinking any type of soda pop, even the diet types are very high in sodium. A few year ago, I started to have problems with my BP, so I gave up any type of Soda pop and my BP dropped down to an acceptable range, but I still had to take a water pill to keep it there. Thursday, August 28, 2008. Wow, Summer is moving on. Its hard to believe that its been so long since I last posted here. Time just passes us by so fast. Summer is already on its way out, school started for the kids in this area today. The tree's have started to change their colors already and getting ready for winter. Most of the hens have stopped sitting on eggs, and the youngsters are all about 1/2 grown at this time. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing fine. My thoughts are with you! How was your day?

Saturday, June 21, 2008. Not to far from me, is a little stand that makes the best darn sub sandwiches anyplace in PA. The name of the place is "Niki's Quick 6". It seems that the wooden Sasquatch that was in the front area of the store, someone liked the little guy so much, that they just walked right out the door with them. The story even made it to the local TV stations, so now we are all praying that Sasquatch will be returned home safely, because he is definitely being missed. Abelle Only in Silence.

Tuesday, September 16, 2008. Fall is in the Air. Sept 22 is the 1st day of Autumn, it seems like it was just yesterday and I was watching the tree's come back to life. Didn't do anything spectacular this summer, not even so much as a small vacation was to be had. But I still enjoyed the summer, none the less. I enjoy the fact that winter means our day ends much early. I don't do much work in the chicken yard at all anymore. Sunday, June 29, 2008. I told him to report off work on Monday and go see the Chiropractor and get adjusted, I figured he probably hurt his back, as well as his neck. So Monday, when he woke up, I could tell right away that his neck was hurting him. My husband and I ride ATV's, too, and we never go alone. He drives and I ride behind him but he has been sure to make sure that I know how to drive it and drive it well in case something were to happen so I could get us out of the woods as well as he....Leigh...

Tuesday, July 8, 2008. Hubby finally broke down and got a new fridge, and I feel like we hit the big time.lol. We use a ton of ice, so #1 son talked us into getting one with an ice maker, and let me tell ya. I am loving being able to go to the fridge for ice and not find empty ice cube trays and NO ICE.so life is good, at least for the moment.lol. Congratulations on the new fridge!
