8 13(목) 하루 기록. 1 어제 잠을 설쳤다. 3시간 정도 잤나 싶다. 그래서 오늘 몹시 졸렸다. 다크서클이 짙다. 어제 잠을 설친 이유는 커피를 많이 마셔서 그런 것 같다. 2 밖에 비가 온다. 폭우가 쏟아진다. 번개가 우르르르쿠왕쿠왕! 에 나가 바깥을 보며 스트레칭을 하는데, 멋진 소재가 생각났다. 그래서 적어놨다. 노트에 동화와 청소년소설 소재를 여러개 적어놨으나 선뜻 진행이 안 된다. 역량이 부족해서일 수도 있고, 아직 때가 아닐 수도 있고. 중요한 건, 구미가 안 당겨서. 오늘 떠올린 소재는 조만간 꼭 쓰고 싶을만큼 구미가 확확 당긴다. 야호, 유레카! 3 오늘 점심은 닭찜. 맛있었다. 밥은 두 숟가락 정도 먹고 남겼다. 나름 잘 참은 편! 저녁으로 두부 한 모랑 두유를 먹었다. 어제 오늘 이틀 간 '점심 운동'을 건너뛰고 밥을 먹었다. 오늘 저녁엔 열심히 운동해야 겠다. 숱한 유혹을 어떻게 이겨낼지 벌써부터 걱정이다. 엉엉. 5 토요일은 서울 모임 가는 날! 5 회사 마치고 이마트에 ...

Writing.is something we learn in elementary school; noun - verb, with some adjectives, adverbs and prepositional phrases thrown in to given detail and liven things up. It should not be difficult, but it can be, especially when our time in the classroom is ancient history, and our daily lives have a different focus. Writing.has been my focus for more decades than I care to count. I enjoy putting words on paper, and taking thoughts and ideas and distilling them into clear, concise copy.
