http://tempeturleymusings.blogspot.com/2014/12/i-know-church-is-true.html
General musings about mostly national politics, religion, and how I try to manage my day to day life. Friday, December 26, 2014. I know the church is true. As a follow up post to this one. That so far I've only been able to get part of the way through. Ehrman, Bart D. (2014-03-25). How Jesus Became God: The Exaltation of a Jewish Preacher from Galilee (p. 132). HarperCollins. Kindle Edition. Says it another way:. Joseph Smith comes out boldly:. And also those to whom these commandments were given, might ...

Shaggy Jasmine: June 2010
http://shaggyjasmine.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Two young ladies dressed to express. Thursday, June 10, 2010. The Hills are Alive. My favorite movie in the whole world is the Sound of Music. It is so freaking good. Also, it's got some really fabulous clothing, such as: . This dress is probably my favorite thing in the whole movie- it's hard to convey in an image, but it moves so beautifully. And this dude's suit? The Baroness may be a super-biotch, but she certainly knows how to dress herself. I've already mentioned my weakness for Lederhosen, yes?

Shaggy Jasmine: January 2010
http://shaggyjasmine.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Two young ladies dressed to express. Saturday, January 2, 2010. Today I met up with some friends and went to the mall. The mall I speak of is Northgate Mall, which was the first mall ever to be built in the US. It's pretty small and kind of out-dated. It's also across the street from Target. If I were the sort of person that used emoticons, there would be a :D after that statement. Oh Target, love of my life. There's so much stuff! Moving on to positivity! At BP I DID find something I liked quite a bit, ...

General musings about mostly national politics, religion, and how I try to manage my day to day life. Saturday, July 5, 2014. Some Thoughts on History. About six months ago, the LDS stake. This is one reason why I think family history is so powerful. Family history is the art of giving life to your own ancestors, no matter how obscure they were to the world at large, they definitely have a preeminent role in your own personal existence and largely had a more interesting life than you realize. In the inte...

Shaggy Jasmine: why so lazy?
http://shaggyjasmine.blogspot.com/2010/09/why-so-lazy.html
Two young ladies dressed to express. Wednesday, September 22, 2010. My plans and expectations for my sophomore year of high school haven't exactly been put into action or met. Not academically, extracurricular-ly (I know it's not a word) and especially not style-ly (also not a word, but who has the time to think of real ones? Sure, I've worn a few dresses here and there, and my new boots. Well, the most common way for girls my age is like this:. Vancouver-based maker of the tightest pants on the face of ...

Grace Is Not God's Backup Plan: My Paraphrase of Adam Miller's Urgent Paraphrase of Paul's Letter to the Romans. But I think Mormons are too quick to dismiss this idea of grace. Or we misinterpret 2 Nephi 25:23. In his book " Letters to a Young Mormon. Adam Miller states in his chapter on Sin:. He goes further in hist latest book. Adam Miller goes on to "paraphrase" the entire boo...

Shaggy Jasmine: Some skinny pretty girl who likes to talk about bands
http://shaggyjasmine.blogspot.com/2010/07/some-skinny-pretty-girl-who-likes-to.html
Two young ladies dressed to express. Thursday, July 29, 2010. Some skinny pretty girl who likes to talk about bands. Today, I was going to go to their concert. Unfortunately, things didn't work out as planned, but I've got them on the brain. They are a very tricky wardrobe situation, because concerts can be quite taxing but are full of people who demand impressive clothing. And, of course, we can't ignore the possibility of serendipitously meeting the dishiest. To a Modest Mouse. 2: Wear tough-girl shoes.
