A Bit of All Right: July 2015
http://eidolonkami.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
A Bit of All Right. Magical Musings and Makings with Many Mediums. Friday, July 31, 2015. I am writing again! And it is good! I have almost completely finished my outline—I’ve gotten to the point where most of what’s left to outline is stuff that is staying mostly. The same from Cassidy 1. That in and of itself is sortof a double-edged sword, since outlining that is boring. And boringly outlining things is unappealing. But I shall power through! Thinking about it quite a bit. Labels: Life gets in the way.

A Bit of All Right: October 2009
http://eidolonkami.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
A Bit of All Right. Magical Musings and Makings with Many Mediums. Thursday, October 22, 2009. My Halloween story sucks. I am sad about it. That is all. Sunday, October 4, 2009. Untitled Story, 1st installment. This was all well and good, and was actually quite effective in keeping the village safe for about 40 years. That was when things began to change. The couples who were found by the Enforcers never ventured out after dark again. The first man finished with her. There were three others.

A Bit of All Right: August 2010
http://eidolonkami.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
A Bit of All Right. Magical Musings and Makings with Many Mediums. Sunday, August 15, 2010. It's been a while, I'd say. I just need to get some thoughts out of my system, and maybe that'll help conquer them. Who knows, though. So, when last we saw our heroes (me), I was embarking on a 90-day short-term disability leave from my work. Immediately following this term, I filed a long-term disability claim, which was (hooray! A Bit of All Right: May 2015
http://eidolonkami.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
A Bit of All Right. Magical Musings and Makings with Many Mediums. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. I have deeply enjoyed my month of break from my novel. Indulging in self-loathing-free video game time has been a blessing. I’ve forgotten what my novel is even about. Need to get better about writing down questions in advance for my group, because I always think some up and then forget what they were by the time group rolls around. Which brings me to the fraught topic of feedback. I love. In advance, then I can&r...

A Bit of All Right: February 2015
http://eidolonkami.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
A Bit of All Right. Magical Musings and Makings with Many Mediums. Friday, February 27, 2015. When writing gets hard. As regular readers know, I (like all writers) struggle with writer’s block. In the past, I’ve strongly. Believed that it was all about fear of doing it wrong. Well, I don’t think I’m wrong. About that, per se, but yesterday was a humbling writing experience. I’m not afraid of making mistakes; I’m just afraid of not being able to fix them. Tangent Anyway. I wrote around seven hundred w...

A Bit of All Right: January 2010
http://eidolonkami.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
A Bit of All Right. Magical Musings and Makings with Many Mediums. Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Today's adults were NOT yesterday's kids. WTF? I don't understand the movement towards installing your children in figurative plastic bubbles to protect them from the world. I mean, I would understand actual. Plastic bubbles—that actually offers real, physical protection. But. disallowing trick-or-treating? Anyone who watches action or mystery movies knows that knowledge is power. Similarly, ignorance is wea...

A Bit of All Right: Back from Seattle
http://eidolonkami.blogspot.com/2015/07/back-from-seattle.html
A Bit of All Right. Magical Musings and Makings with Many Mediums. Thursday, July 23, 2015. Well, it was whirlwind and I think I need a vacation to recover from my vacation, but it was also the greatest weekend trip ever. I had no idea that Seattle was so cool, and it made it glaringly clear to me that I should never attempt to write a story set in a place I’ve never been. There was so much about it that I’d never have known, but that anyone who had so much as visited. Phone calls, runnings back and fort...

A Bit of All Right: Pets or Pests?
http://eidolonkami.blogspot.com/2015/08/pets-or-pests.html
A Bit of All Right. Magical Musings and Makings with Many Mediums. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. I haven’t been productive. I wrote on Friday, about 1,200 words, but since then I’ve been frozen, forlorn. On Monday, I played Don’t Starve. All day. Yesterday, I didn’t even do that much. Gnar, unlike Squish and Tayler, is very interested in the babies. At first, they would approach him and he would leap away, frog-like. But after a few hours, he got braver. He started wrestling with Mist. But after a few more ...

A Bit of All Right: June 2015
http://eidolonkami.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
A Bit of All Right. Magical Musings and Makings with Many Mediums. Friday, June 26, 2015. I grew up in a fortunate environment, surrounded by people who loved to read. My parents, my brothers, and all of my friends: all heavyweight readers. In elementary and middle school, I lacked close friends, so in high school, my newly-discovered joy was social reading. When someone recommends you read a book… or you reccomend they. Read a book… just so you can geek out about it together. Stranger in a Strange Land.
