As the day dragged on, I realized that Bruno planned to spend as little time as possible at home. I accused him of being ashamed of my Lukhonzo language skills (his family’s tongue) which, admittedly, consist of about 12 useless words/phrases running the gamut of: I’m happy to see you , how are your goats? Do you think I can remember them all? Rightly so, Uganda, rightly so.
