New Trainers Please: Football training: Janathon day 31
http://newtrainersplease.blogspot.com/2015/01/football-training-janathon-day-31.html
MK Marathon 2014 plan. Saturday, 31 January 2015. Football training: Janathon day 31. It's the final day of Janathon, I feel quite emotional about it! I've exercised every day, and only two days were something I'd consider "weak" (a short walk and some sit ups). We ran home a lot slower because we were both cold, and got home just before the snow started. And now I'm in the bath defrosting! New Trainers Please: Rest day workout: Janathon day 30
http://newtrainersplease.blogspot.com/2015/01/rest-day-workout-janathon-day-30.html
MK Marathon 2014 plan. Friday, 30 January 2015. Rest day workout: Janathon day 30. I always struggle thinking what I can do for Janathon on a Friday, because Friday is always a rest day for me. Today I decided to have a walk after the school run, which is an easy way to fit in half an hour of exercise before work. I've done quite a bit of walking this January, it's been quite fun really, and it clears my head and sets me up for work. Walking the long way round. 9:21 am, January 31, 2015. Exhausting tread...

MK Marathon 2014 plan. Tuesday, 29 April 2014. Runner's World Fat Burn feature: what's that all about then? If you subscribe to Runner's World UK, by now you will have had your June issue through the post (if you don't, it should be in the shops by end of this week). The regular Fat Burn feature (page 25) is about me this month! How did that happen? This is a bit weird. Back in mid November I spotted a tweet from @runnersworlduk. That included some before and after photos. My friend Claire ( Barberella.

New Trainers Please: June 2014
http://newtrainersplease.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
MK Marathon 2014 plan. Wednesday, 11 June 2014. I've failed at the blogging side of Juneathon but I have still exercised (sort of) every day. I spent the afternoon pitching a tent on my own. I wore my Garmin because I wanted to see how far I moved while doing it (there's a lot of running in circles involved with tent-pitching). I covered just over 1 mile in more than an hour. I also had to run a third of a mile from home to my kids' school because I was late to pick them up. I ran today, I went for a qui...

New Trainers Please: Febathon
http://newtrainersplease.blogspot.com/2015/02/febathon.html
MK Marathon 2014 plan. Tuesday, 3 February 2015. Just joking, there is no such thing as Febathon. I'd have failed it by now anyway since I did no exercise on Feb 1st. I had planned to do a 14 mile long run, but I was hungover in the morning after a 40th birthday party on the Saturday evening, and I was scuppered in the afternoon because some friends came round with wine and taunted me until I gave in. A great mental and physical workout. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow Blog by Email.
