A virtual room of my own. Breathing is fortunately automatic. February 11, 2009 in just a thought. You know life is getting stressful when not only are you drinking cold coffee, but it is. 8216;s cold coffee. Today being Wednesday. Not to mention that when the light goes out after you have been sitting still for fifteen minutes you cannot be bothered to wave your arms to signal that yes, you are still alive and thinking, and would like some light to illuminate those dark corners of the mind…. I am happy ...

http://cwnotebook.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
The eclectic personal blog of a writer. Thursday, September 15, 2011. Taking a brief break. Every so often my time becomes consumed by unexpected events. This is one of those occasions and I'm being stretched in too many directions to have the energy to blog. So I'm taking a brief break. I shall be back shortly, hopefully refreshed and with lots of new ideas but in the meantime I'll still be reading your blogs. Monday, September 05, 2011. So it's a year since I got my Kindle. My New Notebook: July 2012
http://cwnotebook.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
The eclectic personal blog of a writer. Saturday, July 28, 2012. On 6th July 2005 I attended a yoga class and then did my weekly food shop as usual. After loading the car I turned the ignition key and the radio came on, just as the announcement was being made about the location of the 2012 Olympics. I held my breath and stayed listening in the car park until it was announced that London, my adopted home town, had won. And Mr Bean in Chariots of Fire. Or the unique cauldron. My New Notebook: Death of a disco queen
http://cwnotebook.blogspot.com/2012/05/death-of-disco-queen.html
The eclectic personal blog of a writer. Thursday, May 17, 2012. Death of a disco queen. It's always sad when you hear of the passing of a music legend, whose songs formed part of the soundtrack of your life as you were growing up. Today is no exception, with the news that Donna Summer has died of cancer. Perhaps her most famous song was Love To Love You Baby, but I've always loved this Jimmy Webb classic, so what better way to remember Donna? Blogger does its own thing. Its too frustrating for words.

My New Notebook: November 2012
http://cwnotebook.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
The eclectic personal blog of a writer. Sunday, November 18, 2012. You've probably been wondering where I was. In fact for much of this year I've been wondering where I am too. I've been lost. I'm planning a new writing and creativity related blog to accompany what I hope will be my future life path. Winter cold | yuzublizzard
https://yuzublizzard.wordpress.com/2008/12/05/winter-cold
A virtual room of my own. December 5, 2008 in poetry. Paper tissues, nose spray, peppermint oil, paracetamol – I have it all, cold included. I make guacamole with garlic and chili, burning concoctions with chili, honey and ginger, green tea, more green tea, then try a garlic broth, the recipe a courtesy from the New York Times’ health section. Still. My head floats in air,. Round and white like a full moon,. Here once lay a head! Or something like it. I breathe heavily,. Face flushed like an autumn tree.

https://yuzublizzard.wordpress.com/2009/04/30/encounters
A virtual room of my own. April 30, 2009 in poetry. I saw Paris. I did. I just did not see the Eiffel Tower. Two metal studs, symmetrically placed. Below her full, african lips. A yellow hippo on her lap,. Green paws, ears and snout. Beauty circling below the ground. Et si vous pouvait tout changer. We locked gazes. He walked straight. Into the arm of a swirling waiter,. Sending a shower of broken glass and coins. To give shine to the concrete walkway. A circle dance all for me. I saw Paris. I did. Sorry...

Once around the park: Clockwise, Church Road and London Road: noon.
http://oncearoundthepark.blogspot.com/2009/10/clockwise-church-road-and-london-road.html
Once around the park. On most days I walk once around the park and write 30 words about it. Wednesday, 7 October 2009. Clockwise, Church Road and London Road: noon. A sumac tree has been cast out of the garden. It still glows like the embers at the heart of a fire. The cold evergreen hedge has closed behind it. Your words are so image heavy that I have no trouble seeing what you write. 8 October 2009 at 02:37. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Why is this a good practice? James Gurney on Serial Painting.
