Homecoming week - Teresa Bodwell's Journal

http://teresa-bodwell.livejournal.com/113018.html

Sep 19th, 2008 at 1:58 PM. Tomorrow is Homecoming at the University of Montana. This is a big deal in Missoula as the parade involves the entire town. The thing I love about the week leading up to the big parade is that i get a ringside seat to practices by the Hellgate Marching Band. The Hellgate band marches up and down my street and the surrounding neighborhood, playing their music and banging their drums. No. Seriously, I love. Now the TRADOC band). I love a parade! Erica's Writing Class: September 2007

http://ericawritingclass.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html

Sunday, September 30, 2007. Reviews often use multiple rhetorical strategies. Each week on my blog at http:/ writingisconversation.blogspot.com. I post one or two book reviews that I’ve written. Read at least three of them (scroll down, or click on Blog Archive on the left side of the screen to find the entries with titles that begin “Recently Read”). Notice that I usually give some background (why I like the author or type of book. Is this book is part of a series? Did someone recommend the movie to you?

Time to set a new writing goal - Teresa Bodwell's Journal

http://teresa-bodwell.livejournal.com/113400.html

Time to set a new writing goal. Oct 1st, 2008 at 10:46 AM. I'm a bit over 15,000 words on my new novel. I want a 70,000 word draft done by November 1. I'm using WriteWay Pro. Which has this cool word count tracking feature. It tells me that I must write 1,704 words per day to get my draft done on time. No- wait. I just remembered I have to take out the days I'm going to be at the Emerald City Writers Conference. I think I can do it. I'm going to reset my word count tracker. Okay, off to write.

Now this is cool! Oct 7th, 2008 at 12:14 PM. Google labs has come up with a solution- or at least a preventative to those hastily sent e-mails. The idea is that you must answer a math question to show that you are serious about sending that e-mail telling the boss off or inviting your ex to perform certain anatomically difficult actions. Writing is Cake — That tasty, tasty hobby...

That tasty, tasty hobby. Fitting in Writing ANGTFT (Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That). On February 25, 2015. I have a thousand things to do today and writing is just not one of them. This statement represents well the challenge of people working full time, managing the hustle and bustle of life while also trying to squeeze in writing. Often times when I share with friends and colleagues that I enjoy writing, the number one question consistently asked is, When do you have time to write? Writing Sites We Love.

Just another sunny day in cali-for-ni-a. God’s Blessing to Us. August 8, 2013. I listened to a Q&A John Piper gave at a prison in Alabama. This afternoon while I was doing some mindless tasks at work. I started tearing up – as in my eyes started to get watery – halfway through the Q&A. Life has been pretty difficult lately and his assurances of God’s sovereignty and goodness, in this season of my life, really cut to my heart. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
