Charting By the Stars. Let what I love be the stars to my wandering bark…. This entry was posted on March 1, 2015, in Slice of Life Challenge 2015. I looked yesterday to see what I last posted here – it apparently was before life became a jumbled calendar of chaos between my rehearsals for. The Sound of Music. And my husband’s meetings and our son’s extra-curricular projects – and realized that, once again, every single resolution seemed like it has ended up in the heap. Oh, Cindy…). Of dropping the ball.
Life in the 4th Grade: Young Life

Life in the 4th Grade. Thursday, March 26, 2015. It's always tricky to be friends with the parents of your students. However, when you live in the neighborhood and interact with those parents regularly, those times will happen more often than not. March 27, 2015 at 5:10 AM. I understand where youre coming from about being friendly with students families. I always tended to wait until they were out of my class so socialize. That said, it sounds like youve found the right balance here. Parent of the Year.
The Writing Teacher Writes: Gratitude Challenge - Day 3
http://missnatherson.blogspot.com/2015/11/gratitude-challenge-day-3.html
Thursday, November 5, 2015. Gratitude Challenge - Day 3. Very small things for which I am very grateful:. My Apple TV remote. The key to my apartment. My ring that used to be my grandmother's. My brand new baby niece, Emily. Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.". This is one of those quotes that I've heard a hundred times, and I don't even know who said it. Maybe it's an anonymous quote. Either way, I think there's some truth to it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
Life in the 4th Grade: Just relax
http://mrsware4thgrade.blogspot.com/2015/03/just-relax.html
Life in the 4th Grade. Friday, March 27, 2015. I spent the day covering my classroom walls to ensure that my students wouldn't get any extra help on STAAR. My room looks absolutely ridiculous, and I am ready for the tests to be over! I think my students feel that way, too. What a treat to spend an evening creating with your mom. Life in the 4th Grade. Thursday, March 3, 2016. I'm not really participating in SOL this year. It's just too much with all of my graduate work, teaching my class, and a student teacher. In the mean time, if you want to read some excellent book reviews (I got an "A") head over to my other blog. This semester, I am taking two classes: School Library Media Center and Storytelling. So, I might pop in from time to time, but for now, I will lurk in the shadows. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Life in the 4th Grade: Spring
http://mrsware4thgrade.blogspot.com/2015/03/spring.html
Life in the 4th Grade. Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Spring is not my favorite season of the year. The weather goes from cold and snowy to hot and dry with no regard to what clothes I have available in my closet. Somewhere in the middle of those two extremes is usually where we find tonight's weather, TORNADOES! March 25, 2015 at 9:05 PM. Growing up, I spent many nights in the closet because my mom was horrified of the storms. Therefore, I dont pay them as much attention as I should. :(. Parent of the Year.

The Writing Mom | Chasing Time to Find My Passion
Chasing Time to Find My Passion. About The Writing Mom. August 6, 2015. Today started out like any other day. The Hubs was lucky enough to have a day off due to incorrect material being sent to his job site so it was just us and the girls today. I felt more motivated than usual and set about my day determined to make some headway on the chaos our house had become. All in all, a pretty mundane, run of the mill, living the dream day. My brother-in-law, thirteen at the time, had been in an ATV accident down...
