Life is Still Good: November 2008
http://leighdleblog.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Life is Still Good. Monday, November 10, 2008. And the house feels empty again! Gabe really loved both Mark and Josh - it was great to see them interact with him and he loves anyone who will sit and play trains with him. Ryan is slowly but surely recovering. His neck gets sore pretty quickly if he overdoes it, and he is still getting headaches pretty often. Gabe is learning so much these days! Here are some other cute things he does. Instead of asking what someone did, he asks what they 'dood.'. Blogs of...

Life is Still Good: August 2008
http://leighdleblog.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Life is Still Good. Sunday, August 31, 2008. Happy 75th Birthday, Grandma Barb! What a strange sort of limbo we are in! Part of me is just enjoying a couple of weeks without thinking of surgeries and catheters and the ICU and recovery and staples, while the other part is dreading it all and wishing it was over and we were a couple of weeks past the whole thing. The human side of me would love to know what God's purpose in this is right now- why pneumonia the day before surgery? Why does Gabe have VHL.

http://leighdleblog.blogspot.com/2009/04/we-go-bowling-because-we-just-go.html
Life is Still Good. Tuesday, April 21, 2009. We go bowling because we just go bowling! We needed to get some practice in for the last two weeks of our bowling league.George, Rachel, and Noah were there, too, but I wasn't too thorough in my picture-taking. Gabe had to stretch out before his game, mostly because all of the guys were busy stretching out their 4-mile walk induced sore muscles. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I love these guys! Happy Birthday to Tori! Going to the lake. Blogs of our Peeps.

http://leighdleblog.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Life is Still Good. Monday, June 16, 2008. Wow, what a nice Father's Day we had. Tori and I keep joking that it was a second Mother's Day for us.We might have had more fun than the guys! After church we went to the lake for lunch, then put Gabe down for a nap. George had a movie for the guys to watch, so Tori and I ran for the boat as quick as our flip-flops could carry us! Nothing else out of the ordinary here.Ryan isn't feeling any better, but I don't think any worse, either. He'll talk to the ...Well,...

Life is Still Good: "I'm a speed-racer!"
http://leighdleblog.blogspot.com/2009/04/im-speed-racer.html
Life is Still Good. Thursday, April 23, 2009. Gabe has been talking about his race for a week now! Everyone clapped and cheered for him. He got last place, but definitely earned the title of Speed Racer, like he has been telling anyone who will listen. He got to do the 4-mile walk in the jogging stroller after that. Ryan pushed him and Noah, George, Tori and Rachel all speed-walked through town together. Ryan and Gabe came in fourth out of all the walkers! Here is some proof that we all finished. Showing...
