Through the Looking-Glass: October 2010

http://lrbutler.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Tuesday, October 26, 2010. When is our next vacation? Saturday, October 23, 2010. This beach just north of Pupukea had 3-4 turtles sunbathing themselves on it. Through the course of the vacation, Louis and I snorkeled with upwards of 10 Sea Turtles and a manta ray as well as plenty of large, and colorful fish. Dinner Cruise for Friday night fireworks. It was fun. They even made Louis dress up and hula! Classic. Sadly the only picture I have of it is horribly blurry. :( He pretty good at it though. Come o...

Thursday, November 4, 2010. Too cute to spook! He WOULD NOT wear that little devil costume of Dars. Oh well, he was cumfy, and didn't complain. Not to mention his entertainment.one for each hand. We go all the way to Hawaii and bring back the stormtrooper gun because they didn't have it here. And what's in the store the day after we get back.yep you guessed it. That stinkin' gun. Grrr. That is always the way it works here. Cowboy and indian. Boy am I glad we decided to go with can-can girl.

Through the Looking-Glass: April 2010

http://lrbutler.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Tuesday, April 27, 2010. How is it that every time Dar goes through a growth spurt he starts getting clumsy? Did you just not see it? I told him if he cracks his head one more time, Louis is going to seriously worry about leaving me alone with the kids ever again. How am I ever going to explain? I guess I should be grateful that it wasn't in the same place? Now he has two matching lumps on either side of his head. Monday, April 19, 2010. 15 minutes of fame! Dar and I have our first modeling job! Or was i...

Through the Looking-Glass: tid-bits, and quotes

http://lrbutler.blogspot.com/2011/01/tid-bits-and-quotes.html

Sunday, January 2, 2011. Tid-bits, and quotes. Just a few tid-bits from the last several weeks. We discovered Liam DOES NOT like chocolate milk! Weird, and yet one other thing that sets him far apart from Dar. In fact, he seems to prefer water over regular milk lately as well. Liam is, fortunately, doing well in nursery now that he is 'official'. Very sweet and usually redundant things, but I'm ok with that for now. I'll take what I can get. One snuggly chap, ready for bed! Tid-bits, and quotes.

http://lrbutler.blogspot.com/2010/11/first-visit-fromt-he-tooth-fairy.html

Thursday, November 4, 2010. First visit from the tooth fairy. Dar lost his first tooth! While Dar's teeth are falling out, Liam is just getting the rest of his in. He has 4 more left, and we are done for a little while. Although, I haven't checked this morning. Last night I think might have brought one more through. The Days of your Life. Wasnt he just a little guy when we saw him last? Stop getting so big before we see you again! We miss you guys! It looks like you had a great time in Hawaii!

Through the Looking-Glass: Little Liam

http://lrbutler.blogspot.com/2010/11/little-liam.html

Monday, November 15, 2010. As soon as my heart rate drops for my first sleep cycle, he starts crying. It's pretty much rough for the rest of the night. So if HE'S feeling this tired.imagine how tired I was. (I took a nap too as soon as I sent Dar to school). OH little Liam let mommy sleep! BTW Cannon keeps telling me that he wants us to move again so that he can live closer to his friend Darwin! December 5, 2010 at 9:27 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://lrbutler.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Thursday, July 29, 2010. So this afternoon, I started in on dress #2. It's already done, and perfect. Exactly what I was trying to accomplish, and a much better result overall, than dress #1. This time I actually got a picture. :). Wednesday, July 28, 2010. All I have to say is Thank You Celeste for letting me monopoloize your machine for so long. True you were in the states having a baby. But still, your getting home today, and I'm not even close to being done with it. Wednesday, July 14, 2010.

Choose Your Words Carefully. We often read that blog posts should be brief and that readers like to read posts quickly. When writing your post, make sure that you’re not filling it with words that don’t need to be there. Actually, honestly, truthfully, really, quite, so, very, somewhat, seem. Writing Rhetorically | Classical Rhetoric and thoughts on the world around us

January 4, 2015 · 7:09 pm. Book list from 2014, books planned for 2015. While I love to read, 2014 was not a year for lots of books for me. I am lukewarm about several that I read, but other books did impress me–and I am picky about literature. Good literature only whets my appetite for more. The Children of Willesden Lane. By Brandon Sanderson. This is the second book in his Stormlight Archives, after. The Way of Kings. Worth every minute, though. Did not disappoint. He definitely wrote this book fo...

Writing Rhythm – Writing, Reading, Photography, and horses

Writing, Reading, Photography, and horses. Family can mean many things to many different people. To some, it’s an unbreakable bond. To others it’s an annoying sidekick who can’t keep their mouth shut. Holy bat-balls Batman, did you screw up again? This is what I write about. No matter what Genre of fiction I’m working on, weather it’s a short story or a mini-series, it’s this patchwork family at the heart of every story.
