The Greeks voted for the candidates who they wanted to govern their city. The citizen, however, voted for the candidates who they didn't want to govern their city sometimes. BR2-05: The Ugly Duckling. I read “The Ugly Duckling” today. I’ll talk about this story. I’ve heard this story in Japanese before. This is a sad story. When I read this story the first, I cried because this story is too sad. I think the ugly duckling is very poor because he stayed alone long time. Tuesday, December 29, 2009. I have watched Pinocchio movie of Disney before, but I read this book, this book differs from I knew story. Therefore, this book is very interesting to me. However I thought that Gepetto was very kind, because he treat Pinocchio like his son. And he sold his only coat to buy Pinocchio a school book and some clothes. Because Pinocchio disappeared, Gepetto ran after him all the time. I read such scene, I though that Gepetto really loved Pinocchio. The Letter from Five Years Ago.
