History of the WAPs. With a flippant comment made in The Cross Keys in July 2005 that a pantomime should be produced for Christmas. WAPs have come a long way in a short time. The Village Hall now boasts a permanent stage and the WAPS now have the resources to produce shows that can rival many professional theatres. Most Pantomime scripts are now written by members of the WAPs and Summer shows are also produced to great acclaim. Click on an image to view the gallery.

St Pancras Church and Chapel. And inside the church there are framed pictures illustrating the history. There has been a Methodist Chapel on the High Street in Wroot since 1870. We had a small congregation but with the help of villagers we endeavoured to keep the building in a reasonable state of repair. The Chapel is now a private residence.
