I went to a sleep specialist today to discuss the fact that I basically dont sleep anymore. She took a page of notes, then looked at me in bewilderment. Doctor: But WHY havent you already had a sleep study done? Me: I havent had a chance. Ive been a little busy trying not to die. Doctor: *does doubletake, hastily re-reads chart* Oh. I think Ill keep this one.

Its been a while since Ive attended a con, so a couple of quick but very important reminders. 1 COMPROMISED IMMUNE SYSTEM, DO NOT HUG. I am a newly-single self-employed parent; I very literally can. not. afford. to get sick right now. 2 I have PTSD and am considerably more muscular than I look. Not at all fussy about condition as long as all the pages are there and its readable. Baths are one of my primary forms of pain management, so bath stuffs are always good.
