So what is the type of clay you have suitable for or what can you use the clay you have for? Quite often the information is on the bag the clay was packed in. On the example on the right the box ticked is for RGH which has the information on:. The fired colour - Red Iron Stoneware. The fineness of the clay indicated by the mesh number #60 - medium texture. The bisque temperature - Cone 06 1000 C. And glaze temperature - Cone 8 to 10. 1270 to 1300 C.

The Clayworkers at a number of events over the years. From Community based to exhibitions including our 10 year CELEBRATION. 2016 saw our second group exhibition,. Transformations, take place again at the Richard Randall Studio located at the Botanical Gardens at Mt Coot-tha. The numbers of exhibitors and visitors was down on last year but overall it was successful. Congratulations to Marelle Bradford on winning our Wall Hanging Challenge, voted for by the public.
