Autodidact 101: Self Education for the Beginner. I am total crap when it comes to poetry. Because of a bad experience in fourth grade I have stayed away form poetry until a few years ago. I am not a critic though, just a reader, I can tell you what I liked and that is it. I Bought a Poet's guide to Poetry by Mary Kinzie. No longer, maiden voices sweet-calling, sounds of allurement,.
