I have discovered foods I never knew I would like. 2) Don’t be afraid to explore on your own. Some of my most memorable experiences in Portugal are from adventuring on my own. I found that not having a plan sometimes is the best plan; I did spontaneous things and met awesome people this way. 3) Be open to new ideas and experiences. 5) Go out and meet people!
