My dad Don Cunningham is the pilot in your posted picture of Patches. He completed his. 25th mission on June 13, 1943. Friday the 13th. I have his logbooks showing missions he flew to the Schweinfurt Ball Bearing plant. Where he said the flack was so thick you could walk on it.
