Tuesday, January 4, 2011. We had wonderful family times both here at home and as we travelled to Hutch and Douglass to be with extended family. Here are a few pictures:. Drew and Carrie all the way from Erie with their two dogs,. Here for a whole week; it was terrific! Greg, Kim, and Nathanael for a First Christmas picture. Santa brought Grandpa and Grandma Gimple a wagon! I wonder who might like to take rides in that when the weather gets nice! Card games for the "girls". And Wii for the "boys".

Wednesday, August 10, 2011. We had two wonderful times with family and friends in Colorado this summer. The mountains with all the melting snows from the winter and all the spring rains were absolutely gorgeous this time. The first was a week with Drew and Carrie and Greg and Kim and Nathanael in Winter Park, just relaxing together. Sunday, April 29, 2012. Sure Is Quiet Here! We spent a long weekend in Erie all together as a family at the end of March, and we had such a good time - laughing and remembering and playing on the floor with trucks and tractors and toys! Just continuing to make more memories! That's just like eating a bunch of weeds! Such a Kansas farmer comment! I loved it then, and I still love it now every time I pick my salad greens from my garden. Ah, good memories! Our love to all from Dad and Lois. Kim for the Kings.

Wednesday, September 29, 2010. These are a few of my favorite things. In no particular order. Sitting on the deck with a good cup of coffee, sun shining, hoodie on because it's 50 degrees. Gregory who does the mowing and yard work faithfully and cheerfully. The smell of fall in the air - dusty, dry leaves; marigolds and chrysanthemums. Drew and Carrie both doing well at their jobs. Phone calls with dear friends and family. Kim who does the shopping and helps with some terrific meals. The Rest of the Story.

Friday, April 9, 2010. Notice the position Ayse seems to prefer to spend time with her people. Compare to Greg and Kim's latest blog showing the picture of Greg with Ayse from last November. By the way, Greg, she sure is shedding right now. I told Dad I was going to brush her and collect a ziplock bag of hair to bring to you when I come. Friday, June 4, 2010. May 2010 - A Bit of This and a Bit of That. Here's a hodge-podge of items from this past month:. Greg and Kim and Nathanael sent us a mug with Nathanael's picture on it for a late-Mother's Day/early Father's Day gift and told us we had to share! When I had first dibs on it for a cup of coffee, Dick grabbed the camera to get evidence of my hogging. I don't think that was very fair of him; after all, Mother's Day comes before Father's Day! Har lyckats gå ner -55kg med hjälp utav viktväktarna och jobbar nu med att underhålla den nya livsstilen! Då var snart 2dra arbetsveckan gjord efter semestern. Denna veckan har vart otroligt jobbig, på många plan. Kännt mig deprimerad, arg och ledsen på samma gång. (förmodligen pga rökningen). Och igår eftermiddag blev jag att må så dåligt, kände mig febrig och jätte ont i halsen, så fick gå och lägga mig en stund efter jobbet. Men idag känns det lite bättre igen, tack och lov! Ja, så får det nog bli!
