Tuesday, June 06, 2006. Long time no blog. So yes, not blogged for ages, mostly as not really had anything to say so now I have a few things thought I'd better put them down in case anyone actually reads this and thinks I've fallen off the planet. I haven't - though everything here is upside down from home, so it could happen. I miss my earmuffs, that's all I say. Ppppicking up a penguin. Heh heh, I actually picked up 2! Monday, April 03, 2006. Photos clockwise: Me in full Deli Waitress gear for my first Aussie job. Flashbacks in Plett, the local hangout above the high street. The great staff at Nothandos - Queenie with the biggest best smile ever, Eunice at reception and Sweetness looking daddy-cool! So now to Oz. But is nice to be here and be in a house and see Suz aswell. Also the singing toilet we went into on my first day here certainly made me realise we weren't in Africa anymore! Hello, yes it's winter again here, think the world has gone upside-down, and forgotten that it is supposed to be getting warmer here in the southern half of the planet, not copying the northern bit and getting colder. I't s chilly here, but meant to get hotter soon, pleeaasse, I am soo over winter, it's just boring as (to sound like a true Melbournian - as what? Who knows, just 'as'). Best temp job.EVER! How cool is that! Right now melbourne is gripped in Spring Racing Fever!
