Yesterday saw the report of a Bonaparte's Gull on East flood, On arrival the tide was in so we parked up at the first pull in but after a quick scan of the flood we failed to locate the bird. Don’t be tempted to follow the well sign posted national cycle route to Duxford. The route via the quiet village roads is strikingly more stimulating and enjoyable than the bland national cycle route which, whilst avoiding the road, misses all the pretty villages.
