In the European Elections in June 2009, Labour were at their lowest ebb, polling just 14.5% of the city-wide vote in Brighton and Hove. I mention this because earlier this evening I received, from an unnamed source (I wish I could say whom), a poll conducted by Kindle Research. Established in 2005 by Paul Hutchings. At no point, ...

The Continuing Adventures of the World’s Greatest Interstellar Aubergine. Barbara Harris Interview and Project Prevention Update. It took me a while to realise quite why my previous blog about Project Prevention following the BBC Radio 4 interview had received so much attention recently. Some of the opposers to my comments have been there for a while, but others have come recently to join the party. This is a good thing because more respectful discussion is always helpful. The story even reached the BBC.

The Continuing Adventures of the World’s Greatest Interstellar Aubergine. Paddy Milner @ The Corn Exchange. Once every two or three years I go to see a band and they so seriously impress me that I wax lyrical for a few months afterwards. Last night I saw the fabulous Paddy Milner and his big sounds. The concert was in memory of his mother who passed away not so long ago, and part of the charity concerts going on all weekend known as the Warm Festival. To be honest, when I spoke to some of the other music...

Nigel Farage’s Grand National Tip: Soll at 20/1 | The Political Bookie
https://politicalbookie.wordpress.com/2015/04/10/nigel-farages-grand-national-tip-soll-at-201
News from Ladbrokes' Political Odds desk. Labour just two seats behind on latest Ladbrokes forecast. Nigel Farage’s Grand National Tip: Soll at 20/1. We offered a charity bet to all of the main party leaders, and the only one to take us up was Nigel Farage. He’s had his 500 on Soll at 20/1, with any proceeds going to the RNLI. For political science groupies, the selection has to be Bob Ford at 50/1. I don’t. The horse was named after Manchester University’s Rob Ford. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
