Life Is Good...: April 2009
http://lig-nancy.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Just what the title says. Tuesday, April 21, 2009. I haven't posted any paintings in a while, so I thought I'd just put all the latest work up all at once. Do you see a theme here? It will probably have to wait a while, though, due to other pressing duties. At least I know I'll have plenty of things ready when I can get back to it.:) Life is good. Saturday, April 11, 2009. A Different Sort of Easter. Could color to their hearts' content. We had some very unusual and pretty eggs (and fingers! Have plans w...

Life Is Good...: Goodbye..
http://lig-nancy.blogspot.com/2009/02/goodbye.html
Just what the title says. Saturday, February 28, 2009. And when we get to Florida, the temperature isn't supposed to get out of the 50's for several days. I guess that's better than the 30's we are supposed to have here, but I am hoping the weather warms up sooner rather than later. If it doesn't, though, I have about a dozen paperback books and all my painting supplies to take along, so I won't mind! I am taking my computer with me to Florida, but if there is no Internet. I haven't been on line much so ...

Life Is Good...: July 2008
http://lig-nancy.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Just what the title says. Thursday, July 31, 2008. I hardly make a cake all the rest of the year because we have it so often in the summer. We do have 4 renegade family members who dare to have birthdays in October, January, February, and May. I don't know how this happened! Actually, they joined the family through marriage. :) Our family will probably continue to grow. I wonder if we'll spread out the birthday season then. Meanwhile, life here goes on, and of course, it's good! Monday, July 21, 2008.

http://lig-nancy.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Just what the title says. Tuesday, November 25, 2008. However, I appreciate all of the kids making an effort to get together for Thanksgiving. It will make it a special day for me, and at least for that day, I won't be missing Florida! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Wednesday, November 19, 2008. And He Cooks, Too! Monday, November 10, 2008. Happy Marine Corps Birthday! You can see we have added a few temporary items to our outside decor. Today is the Marine Corps Birthday, as most Marines and their ...

Life Is Good...: The Sandwich Generation...
http://lig-nancy.blogspot.com/2009/02/sandwich-generation.html
Just what the title says. Sunday, February 22, 2009. Is something I have often read about but not experienced- until now. While I am not exactly in the middle of an older and younger generation, I seem to be in the middle of an older and same generation, both needing me right now. I don't know how all this will play out. I hope by the time we get home April 1 that Dad is living independently again, for everyone's. Enjoy the beach and your time together. I enjoy your blog and agree that you and your husba...

Life Is Good...: A Different Sort of Easter
http://lig-nancy.blogspot.com/2009/04/different-sort-of-easter.html
Just what the title says. Saturday, April 11, 2009. A Different Sort of Easter. Could color to their hearts' content. We had some very unusual and pretty eggs (and fingers! The next day, Easter, we all gathered for supper at Dad's. He bought the ham and the snack stuff, and the rest of us provided the sides and dessert. Easter baskets that had been hidden were found, and a good time was had by all. Today, and we can pray that he continues to recover. And we have to remember that, always, life is good.

Life Is Good...: December 2008
http://lig-nancy.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Just what the title says. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Happy New Year, 2009! On the plus side, we are thankful that both of us seem to be quite healthy, aside from the usual aches and pains that accompany aging. After Terry's bad year in 2007, 2008 was quite a relief. Also on the plus side, we bought and furnished a lovely new house and then moved into it! Friday, December 19, 2008. The Return of Mr. Christmas. And Mrs. Christmas is glad to see him having so much fun. Life is good! Subscribe to: Posts (...

Life Is Good...: I'm Back!
http://lig-nancy.blogspot.com/2009/04/im-back.html
Just what the title says. Monday, April 06, 2009. We haven't seen Drew and Nick since Christmas, which is too long. So we came home to pick up the threads of everyday life. But that's okay. It's less than five months until we can go back! Life is indeed good. It must have been hard to return to real life after a month in that beautiful setting. So very sorry to hear about your Dad. I know that must worry you terribly. Glad to hear you're returning later this year to such an ideal locale. Count it all JOY!
