Lazy Days in my Garden. My Garden. A place to sit in peace away from everyday life. Monday, September 22, 2014. The sun is so low now the back garden is in quite a bit of shade now so I moved the small table and chairs from their place in the shade in the back garden round to the sun in the front so I can continue enjoying my lunch in this gorgeous autumn weather. Thursday, September 4, 2014. I have been very lax in posting this summer due to a hitch with my Internet connection and pure laziness. I love ...

Lazy Days in my Garden: August 2013

Lazy Days in my Garden. My Garden. A place to sit in peace away from everyday life. Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Finn by the front gate. The roses have been spectacular this year. Last year something ate the flowers on the lilies. This year only 1 out of 3 survived and has been quite tall and leggy. The fuchsias seem to like this spot by the coal bunker. Looking towards the front gate. The stonecrop has done well this year. They all love the Buddlea but seem to prefer the front garden to the back. Build chi...

Lazy Days in my Garden. My Garden. A place to sit in peace away from everyday life. Thursday, September 26, 2013. A little blue tit came knocking on the window yesterday, so I washed the feeders and hung them up today. These 3 I can see from the kitchen window. This 1 I can't see from the house at all but the bluetits like it here as the sparrows don't seem to use it as much as the one by the front door. This 1 is right by the front door and usually has flocks of sparrows on it. The Elephant Hawk Moth .

Lazy Days in my Garden: June 2014

Lazy Days in my Garden. My Garden. A place to sit in peace away from everyday life. Tuesday, June 10, 2014. I was a big fan of recycling long before it became fashionable and when I was given an old cast iron bath many years ago I decided it was just the thing for tadpoles. Now although the water is an interesting green colour it is home for quite a few creatures. These two frogs spent an entire afternoon basking in the sun. The one in the water was much more confident than the one on the side. Bob Flowe...

Lazy Days in my Garden: March 2014

Lazy Days in my Garden. My Garden. A place to sit in peace away from everyday life. Wednesday, March 26, 2014. When the willow looked more like a tree a Dorothy Perkins rose used to climb through it. I hope I can persuade her to clamber over the stump and soften it a bit until it sends out new shoots and starts to look more like a tree again. With the help of my trusty assistant I've used the Buddlea prunings my neighbour shredded for me last year as a pathway around it. Sunday, March 16, 2014. The yello...

Living The Dream: Nala & Robin: September 2009

Living The Dream: Nala and Robin. A Look Into The Fabulous Life of Two Adorable Golden Retrievers. Sunday, September 27, 2009. So I er, 'fell' in the pond today. Hehe. I used to be very scared of that pond because on my first play time when I was a curious little bugger, I fell into the pond and eh, nearly drowned and it took me a looong time to come near it again. I decided to take a dip in it today and hmm, it's not as scary as I remember. Cross paws ;) ). Thursday, September 24, 2009. The Bitch is Back.

Living The Dream: Nala & Robin: Morning Ritual

Living The Dream: Nala and Robin. A Look Into The Fabulous Life of Two Adorable Golden Retrievers. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. At 7 o'clock this morning, Adik woke me up from my beauty sleep to watch the sunrise. Sort of. The sun has rised already, actually, but only halfway. The reason being that she was going through her photo gallery and noticed that Nala has way more pictures than I do and so she wants to take new pictures of me with a nice, natural lighting. It's good enough I agreed to go with you!

Lazy Days in my Garden: January 2015

Lazy Days in my Garden. My Garden. A place to sit in peace away from everyday life. Monday, January 12, 2015. However, instead of spending an enjoyable morning browsing through the plants we asked an assistant where they were and made a quick dash to the appointed spot and grabbed the tall one at the back and the small one at the front of the picture. On the way I grabbed this cheerful little witch hazel which I thought would brighten the place up a bit in the dark winter months. FEEDJIT Live Traffic Map.

Lazy Days in my Garden: November 2013
http://blue-lazydaysinmygarden.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Lazy Days in my Garden. My Garden. A place to sit in peace away from everyday life. Friday, November 29, 2013. This poor collared Dove was sitting on the shed roof watching the sparrows on the feeders trying to work out how to get to the feast. Thursday, November 21, 2013. Found this in the garden when I went out this morning. It appeared overnight and is made from hair from my horse's mane and mud. I left it alone even though it's in a very exposed position by the front gate. Wednesday, November 20, 2013.
