http://risenmay.blogspot.com/2015/02/wearefamily.html
Wednesday, February 4, 2015. I'm back and it's still 2013 on my blog, cool. Sorensen FAMILY reunion. The best thing that happens every 3 years. It was a little windy and Calla has a lot of hair. :). Went to visit my Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen, LOVE THEM! This is their LEGACY. Their children still gather all of us extended and even farther extended family every 3-4 years. Vivian, Ken, Gaye, Gerald, Arlo. They take turns planning and partying. We love the bounce slides! We gather for Genealogy lessons.

Setting Stones: Color Restoration
http://stonesetter.blogspot.com/2009/04/color-restoration.html
Embracing God's plan for a remarkable life! Sunday, April 5, 2009. It is a picture of my children's father, walking in the rain. It's a silly picture and one of my favorites because he is wearing blue shorts and cowboy boots and holding an umbrella. The sidewalk reflects the drops and you can tell it is late fall because the trees are almost bare, and there is an abundance of golden leaves on the ground. How could I have forgotten the true nature of a picture I am so familiar with? Time faded the beauty ...

The Mack Pack: Gettin' so BIG!
http://mackleyfam.blogspot.com/2010/12/gettin-so-big.html
Friday, December 3, 2010. Jackson is just about 8 months now and he has mastered so many milestones. He sits up like a pro, starting to crawl backwards, and can even push himself up to a sitting position. We are enjoying him so much! Carter and Spencer are such great big brothers and are the best of pals. I can't even imagine the day when they are all in cahoots with each other driving me up the wall with their antics and loudness, but I'm sure that it's going to be great! We have much to be thankful for!

The Mack Pack: April 2010
http://mackleyfam.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Spencer is on a Single A team with a lot of his friends and classmates. He's having fun, learning a lot, and is getting better and better. We love that he bats left handed, but is a total righty, and has such a smooth stroke. His defense is quite good as well, and can I just say am very proud that he majoritively plays short-stop! I've only made it to 1 game, well only part of it really with just having Jackson, but he looks great out there and is doing well. Links to this post.

Choose to S.M.I.L.E. Every Day. Lehis Dream: A Tale of Three Trees. In the Oct. 2011 Ensign Elder David A. Bednar said this,. May we all have eyes to see and ears to hear additional lessons from Lehi’s vision. I took that as a direct challenge and studied chapters 8-15 with new eyes. In doing so I came up with what I'd like to call A Tale of Three Trees. The Tree that Grows Within. Now, we will compare the word unto a. Now, if ye give place, that a. May be planted in your. Spiritually Minded Motherhood: Patience, Faith and Desire through Transitions
http://spirituallymindedmotherhood.blogspot.com/2015/04/patience-faith-and-desire-through.html
Choose to S.M.I.L.E. Every Day. Patience, Faith and Desire through Transitions. I heard a story at church last Sunday that was particularly for me! Elder Oaks once gave a beautiful talk on Desire. He said, "Desires dictate our priorities, priorities shape our choices, and choices determine our actions. The desires we act on determine our changing, our achieving, and our becoming.". So what do I need to do to ensure my desires are granted? And yet I think they are given to us for the very purpose of stren...

Choose to S.M.I.L.E. Every Day. Adversity: God Holds the Leash. My son, John, just gave this talk in sacrament meeting tomorrow. I asked for a copy and wanted to record it here. Who says parents are the primary teachers? I love the lessons I learn from my children! My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment; and then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes." D&C 121:7-8. 1) to gain a body. God has a...

Spiritually Minded Motherhood: May 2015

Choose to S.M.I.L.E. Every Day. What is a Latter-Day Saint? Religious beliefs are being attacked on all sides. Everywhere in media we see many issues being discussed and debated. But what concerns me most are the subtle (or not so subtle) attacks within. One of my very favorite talks from this last General Conference. Was about what it means to be a Latter-Day Saint. Judgment goes both ways! Let's follow his counsel and instead of differentiating ourselves, let's choose to collectively call ourselves DIS...
