Sunday: After church, everyone came over for a weiner roast and campout in our backyard. We had a great time even though the thermometer said we were over 100 degrees that day. It was nice being able to excape to the air conditioned house for break from the heat. We lit off fireworks that evening. Uncle Kevin was in charge of the show. He did a great job! Saturday, October 31, 2009. Salmon River Fishing Trip. The scenery was gorgeous, and the fishing . . .well it was an adventure even though the only thing that was caught were a few suckers, someones discarded fishing line that had a trout caught on it, and great family memories. Despite car problems it was a very nice trip and I might not wait so long to go back again. Of course, I am sure that Mike and Alan will once again return in hopes of snagging a stealhead next year. Monday, August 23, 2010. Big deer where are you? We have been bow hunting this week. I am happy to say I didn't have to sleep on the ground and I stayed toasty warm. Saturday, March 17, 2012. The Valentine Family Reunion this year was held as part of Mom (Donna) Valentine's 89th Birthday Party. Steve and I were in charge, so you know who did the planning and prep. :-). The plan is to have this reunion around Valentine's Day each year, it had to be delayed this year a little.
