We were able to catch a soccer game of Jackson's where he scored the only goal for his team. He was so pleased, especially because he had prayed he would be able to score, and he did! Ma and Pa Stubz. Wednesday, October 12, 2011. East Coast Trip Sept 2011 - Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown and some Grandkids! After a long flight, and an even longer drive from Baltimore, Md to Williamsburg, VA - we made it! So here goes . . . Ben was beyond excited to go aboard the Susan Constant sailing ship, but disappointed to find we weren't actually going to set sail. I was relived! Ben didn't mind going inside the huts, but Hannah wasn't too keen about all the animal hides and the smell!

The grounds were beautiful and the estate was an exercise in self-sufficiency. We took a boat ride on the Potomac and saw Mount Vernon from the water. Also saw Fort Washington, and we could even see off in the distance the Woodrow Wilson Bridge over the Potomac from DC to Alexandria, VA. Ma and Pa Stubz. Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Monterey Bay, Giants Game, San Francisco and Point Reyes. Life is like a box of chocolates at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Petting bat-rays at the aquarium. This is a 10 story, 20ft wide 1910 belt, suspender and tie factory wedged between 2 highrise buildings. Owner had a sense of humor. It's now vacant with a tacky Sushi Bar on the bottom floor. Us at the Giants game. We enjoyed watching Buster Posey's debut. He did great! I'll end with this photo and let the words speak...

Ma and Pa Stubz. Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Lancaster, PA, Amish Country, Gettysburg and Philly. We culminated our almost 2 weeks of sightseeing with a relaxing few days in Lancaster, PA with Jared's family. They were good sports about taking us to see some Amish countryside, and a visit to Gettysburg. We ventured out on our own to Philadelphia to see the birthplace of our nation. It was a great end to a wonderful vacation. We can't wait to go back again. Gorgeous Amish countryside of Intercourse, PA.

Ma and Pa Stubz. Monday, August 23, 2010. We took a detour off I-5 and spent our first night in Klamath Falls - just to check it out. Not impressed! We did a little nature hike the next day, and found the "falls" which amounted to a brief section of rapids! At least our hotel was very nice. The drive from Klamath Falls was beautiful as we drove by Upper Klamath Lake. We were lame and forgot our camera, so our few photos are from our cell phone. The pic below is of the "falls.". Mommy Deer was very patient.
