Wylie Roberts is a trainer and coach in Nova Scotia. Wylie is a certified Level One Coach under the National Coaching Certification Program of Canada. She has been riding for 28 years and has been teaching for 17. The Atlantic Equestrian centre is a full training and boarding facility located in Beaverbank, Nova Scotia. AEC offers training for horses and for riders, on their own horses or on school horses. The coaches offering instruction at AEC are the owner and manager Anne Myhr, Wylie Roberts and Julie McGonegal. All are certified Level One Coaches. AEC provides full care for its boarders, including; all day turn out, paddocks and grass, three meals a day, and indoor and outdoor riding rings.

Wylie credits two instructors for bringing her to where she is today; Anne Myhr and Ron Postleb. Anne Myhr opened up the world of dressage to Wylie and inspired her at an early age. Her goals are to keep horses happy and sound through proper riding. She sees the purpose of dressage as bringing each horse to it's full potential regardless of it's level of natural ability. Wylie has been competing in the Nova Scotia Dressage circuit for many years with her own horses and those belonging to her students. In 1994 she travelled to New Brunswick with her horse Ironoco, to compete for the Nova Scotia Dressage team in the Atlantic Equestrian Games, where her team won the gold medal. She has continued to show locally and has won several High Point and Circuit Awards. In 2009, she received a Provincial Silver Award for First Level with a student’s horse, Millennium Dreamer.
