Knit one, read two...
http://cyndimartin.blogspot.com/2014/02/gosh-i-havent-blogged-in-ages-been.html
Knit one, read two. Monday, February 17, 2014. Gosh, I haven't blogged in AGES! I've been cooking quite a lot but not much professionally. I've had a lot of changes in the last couple of years- Julianne grew up, I left Missouri, my Bitty Baby Abby died this past August. I'm staying in friends' guest room right now and doing most of the cooking for their family. I am diligently job-hunting. Seems that process never ends. It's so frustrating! A friend made me some business cards. I love them! Make your own,.

Knit one, read two...: Cookies Tanglewood
http://cyndimartin.blogspot.com/2012/06/cookies-tanglewood.html
Knit one, read two. Saturday, June 16, 2012. At lunch the other day I asked the folks at my table whether they wanted oatmeal cookies or peanut butter cookies for dessert. They wanted both in the same cookie. That sounds yummy. Did they want raisins or chocolate chips? That didn't really sound good to me but whatever. I'll make it. Everyone loved these cookies and since I invented them I named them and here we have Cookies Tanglewood. 1 cup softened butter. 1 cup packed brown sugar. 1 cup peanut butter.

Knit one, read two...: Camp's Favorite Bread
http://cyndimartin.blogspot.com/2012/06/camps-favorite-bread.html
Knit one, read two. Saturday, June 16, 2012. The staff inhales it as quickly as I make it! The bought bread is largely ignored and is probably destined to be croutons or bread pudding very soon. We won't have campers for another week but I think they will like this bread, too. I am having computer troubles and can't share a picture from this borrowed one, but I will post a picture as soon as I can. 15 cups leftover cooked oats. 25 cup warm water. 125 teaspoons active dry yeast. 15 cups whole wheat flour.

Knit one, read two...: Sandwich Week
http://cyndimartin.blogspot.com/2010/09/sandwich-week.html
Knit one, read two. Friday, September 10, 2010. We still have a dinner menu and several different banquet menus to do. I have better paper (smooth and not green) for them but will use the same general format (but a larger font) and will continue my Thyme and Tides Inn theme because I love it! This past week we made tons of sandwiches in class. The first day was small open-faced ones (crudités). My favorite is the curried chicken salad. That stuff might be addictive! http://cyndimartin.blogspot.com/2010/10/in-this-past-phase-we-had-menu-project.html
Knit one, read two. Thursday, October 21, 2010. Would you eat here? In this past phase we had a menu project to do. I don't guess we had to do them for the same restaurant but I think that most of us did. I did. I totally got into it and just elaborated on my daydreams. I'm not sure about the first lunch menu but all of the others got 100%. That makes me happy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). St Louis, MO, United States. View my complete profile. Knit one, read two...: Merry Christmas!!!
http://cyndimartin.blogspot.com/2012/12/merry-christmas.html
Knit one, read two. Wednesday, December 26, 2012. This is my first Christmas away from Julianne. It's been hard but I guess it won't be the last one. Due to a very bad job market in St. Louis I packed up and moved to Thomasville, NC with my sister. It's not where I want to be but I'm having much better luck finding a job! I stole this from Julianne's Facebook page. I love it! January 17, 2013 at 3:01 PM. What a cute pic! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). St Louis, MO, United States. This is the 3D me.

Knit one, read two...: How I spent my summer vacation......
http://cyndimartin.blogspot.com/2012/06/how-i-spent-my-summer-vacation.html
Knit one, read two. Saturday, June 9, 2012. How I spent my summer vacation. I am working this summer as lead baker/lead breakfast cook at a 4-H camp. In Lincolnville, Maine. I've been fascinated with New England for years and I HATE summer weather in Missouri. This is going to be a great experience! One bus stop was in Philly. Portsmouth, New Hampshire! If you've followed my blog long and remember the menu project. You will understand just how thrilling this was! She also drove me past LLBean in Freeport...
