Wednesday, March 23, 2011. I didn't quite know what to expect arriving in Haiti. I knew there was going to be damage from the earthquake and poverty, but what I saw was beyond my expectations. That is all in Port-au-Prince. Another thing that I had not expected was that outside of the capital, things are almost back to normal. Other than receiving goods and support from PaP, the rural communities are getting along pretty well! Out in the country I saw more of the lively spirit I had experienced in Africa.

The technology is right up my alley, lots of travel to quench the travel bug, I get to teach the locals in these countries how to fish, and at the end of the day I feel great about what I've accomplished. Monday, June 7, 2010. When I came to Zambia I really had no idea what type of work I would be doing. All I knew is that they needed someone with technical skills to help at one of the most "connected" schools in Zambia. As it turns out, it seems I have all the right skill sets to fit their needs so I think I was the perfect one for the job!
