Travels with my camera: March 2006
http://flickersnicescenerypics.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Travels with my camera. The Towy has overflowed as usual all over the fields, alongside the by-pass is just one huge lake. It was milder too, so I have turned down all my storage heaters, and also the oil-filled rad in the bird shed. Now tonight the cloud has cleared and it feels bloody cold. Typical. :o(. Think I've spelt that wrong, but can't be bothered to look it up). Posted by flicker : 20:25 0 comments. Halfway round Wales/Cwm Tudu/New Quay. A wet Emma, looking as if she has been thrashed within an...

J.D.'s SOAPBOX: March 2008
http://jdssoapbox.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 31, 2008. I was just wondering how many of you have sat on that little 3 legged stool and actually milked Ole Bossy? I know that if you’ve ever milked Ole Bossy, you know what this is and what you do with it! The rest of the milk would be prepared and put aside to be churned. Then the milk would be poured into that old churn and churned into butter? 8221; The reason they were so expensive is because they were store bought, not flower sack bloomers…! J.D.'s SOAPBOX: The pear tree
http://jdssoapbox.blogspot.com/2008/07/pear-tree.html
Wednesday, July 23, 2008. As I was out on the purgola drinking my second cup of coffee, I noticed the pear tree close to the house. It is full of pears but the one next to it only has maybe a half dozen, I wonder why? So I went in and got the camera and took a few shots and thought I would share them with you. The tree has so many pears on it that it is so distorted from their weight! You can see the shadow of the other tree, slim and trim! This shot is the very top of the tree and you can see. At differ...

WILD ABOUT ART: May 2010
http://wildaboutart.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Monday, 31 May 2010. This post was meant to be the first stage of Ruby, my sister's cat, but after spending about six hours working and getting increasingly frustrated I have decided to scrap it and begin again on a different support. Giving myself a break before restarting I have finished off the little parrot from my last workshop. He is in Derwent Coloursoft pencils, 6.5" x 9" on cream mountboard. Wednesday, 19 May 2010. This is in Derwent Coloursoft pencils on mountboard. Saturday, 15 May 2010. Well,...

WILD ABOUT ART: Snow Leopard progress
http://wildaboutart.blogspot.com/2010/07/snow-leopard-progress.html
Saturday, 17 July 2010. I'm happy with the way this picture is progressing - at the moment anyway! Today I've added some basic shading for his fur and done more work on his mouth, teeth and muzzle. I would have got more done, but had unexpected visitors. Probably a good thing, making me put it to one side and give some thought to the next stage, instead of rushing it, which is what usually happens. Faber castell pitt pastels. WILD ABOUT ART: January 2008
http://wildaboutart.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 29 January 2008. I have been doing a fair amount of bird watching recently both in the garden for birdwatch weekend and elsewhere. After the disappointment of putting feeders up in the garden last year and not getting any birds I bought another multi feeder and sited it in a different place and quickly the birds have started coming, with more arriving everyday! Friday, 18 January 2008. A little more drawing. Tuesday, 8 January 2008. A little work on my robin. Sunday, 6 January 2008. Lower test n...
