How to remember the hiragana O and MU. Nov 22nd, 2011 06:41 pm. O is お think of a guy throwing his dog a bone.The top is where his head would be, so the line would be his body.So in the curve would be the dog,so that little mark over there is his bone. MU is む now think of a cow farting mustard gas,lol.This one i just cant stop laughing at.Now the little circle is the cows head, so obviously the rest is his body.Well that little line is.you got it!

Heres what i do to memorize the hiragana and katakana charts.I fins a song i love in japanese that is written in romaji, then i go and fina a hiragana or katakana chart.i look at the lyrics in romaji and i look at the chart im working with, and i start writting the lyrics down in hiragana or katakana.It really does work!
