The Relic: December 2004
http://therelic.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
As if there aren't enough people supporting the old-fashioned and traditional. Commenting on my Orthodox faith, life in general, and my hope that someday the two will be joined as one within me. Friday, December 03, 2004. From '50s Sci-Fi to reality. Article doesn't just scare the you-know-what right out of you, then I don't know what will. I've never been much of a radical Luddite, but I start to wonder if I'm headed in that direction. Posted by Radoje S. @ 1:11 PM. Wednesday, December 01, 2004. Blog th...

I am so thankful to God that He forgives and allows us to repent. There are still sooo, so, sooooo many things I need to work on, but it's encouraging to see a little improvement! Lately i feel like the world's biggest bully. i avoid conflict by nature but it's getting harder these days. No jumping on the couch. if you don't stop you'll have to play by yourself on the floor. 1. 2. 3. okay, sorry. no more couch! You bark again during audrey's nap and your voicebox is mine! Diary of a New Mom. Thoughts, questions, observations, and ramblings of a new mom. Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Hip In a Hurry. I got a sweet package of floral wall stickers (similar, but not the same as the ones in this image) to put up around Maggie's changing table and closet area. I think the total expense ended up being $10.99 or something like that! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I am so thankful for the love and support of beloved friends and family! Chronicles of Mary: On Fasting
http://chroniclesofmary.blogspot.com/2007/11/on-fasting.html
Leaving the Emerald State for the Golden State. Wednesday, November 28, 2007. A good reminder for me, from St John Chrysostom:. Fasting is the change of every part of our life, because the sacrifice of the fast is not the abstinence but the distancing from sins. Therefore, whoever limits the fast to the deprivation of food, he is the one who, in reality, abhors and ridicules the fast. Are you fasting? Show me your fast with your works. Which works? If you see a beautiful woman on the street, pass her by.

Apples.okay, ANY fruit, she loves. Kidney and black beans. Sometimes she'll eat PBJ. Maybe one day I'll be more inspired.but for now, I avoid spending any more time in the kitchen than is already necessary to feed my family 3 meals a day. rainy day optimism: April 2011
http://jennylynnbaker.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sunshine. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Audrey's latest craze is sidewalk chalk. once outside, she runs to her little chalk tub and walks around marking her lines across the cement in true stylish fashion. i admit this post is very lucy romero,. But chalk is easy to clean up and i'm not quite ready for this. I'm proud to admit that this doesn't happen very often. she's learning chalk doesn't taste very good and chalk biting is growing rarer. Yeah, not too good.
