A bit of Leo and Siem. :). Thursday, December 17, 2009. Leo's back in HK- day 10. Today I spent a long time just to clean the newly harvested faba beans by getting rid of dry pods and bad seeds so that can keep them into the freezer before I leave Wagga on Friday! On the way driving back, oh, with a pack of hungry jack woppers. I was thinking, luckily I still have Lily here, or else, how would it be like? I will be all alone, if I were to stay on campus. Thankful. Leo, I am so so so gonna see you soon!

Thursday, December 18, 2008. Last working day of 2008! In another 15 mins, there will be the end of working day for 2008 (at least for me . ) as tomorrow we will have the Professional Staff Christmas Party at the Melbourne Zoo (consider day off) and i am taking next Monday - Wednesday off, so i will have 2 weeks holidays till 4th Jan 2009! Saturday, May 31, 2008. My first ever kuih. Thanks to Flora for the recipe and inspiration! I have successfully made my first ever kuih - Onde onde. It is fairly easy to make this Malaysian dessert, i bought all the ingredients from Asian groceries which include dessicated coconut, coconut milk, gula melaka(palm sugar), glutinous rice flour and pandan essence.
