Just another WordPress.com site. Junior Counselors (JC’s). July 5, 2010. Danish national night went swimmingly! After a short presentation and distribution of booklets the delegates were broken into teams where they collectively guided one blindfolded group member to build a traditional Danish layer cake. This process includes no less than 7 ingredients and 10 steps from spreading cream and frosting to arranging bananas and strawberries. Needless to say it was a great load of fun! Throughout the activity the Brazilian delegation and the other participants really showed us how much they have to give, how deep their thoughts are and that they are all able to share knowledge about their own culture and gain insight in others’. Last full day at camp. There were also free bases, where you could rest for a little while if you’ve been running a lot, but no more than five people here at the time. They dressed up and talked about their achievements and this way we got to meet many famous and important characters from Portuguese history.
