July 12, 2012. My last classmate left a week ago. They all left on different days, it was sad to say good bye so many times! I still had some more days left in Sevilla, and they have been very relaxing. Planning for my return home (will have to look for a job! And getting ready to pack. There's so much stuff! We leave on Sunday for a week of curso de flamenco in Sanlúcar and a couple of glorious days at the beach afterwards. Flight home on the 28th of July, arrival at 6.30 PM! Thursday, July 12, 2012.

November 27, 2011. I caught a cold and stayed home most of the weekend. This afternoon, I was fed up with staying at home. So I took a walk through Sevilla and took some photos. First, I walked through my own neighborhood, which is the Barrio de Santa Cruz. It's very old and also called "Zona monumental". The architecture feature the typic colonial style. It's also full of tourists here in the summer. The Sevillan emblem: Orange trees. A delicious looking bakery. A patio in Santa Cruz. Waiting for a job.

August 26, 2011. The river Darro that flows through Granada comes from a valley behind the city. Walking up to the Albaicín, you can take a turn right to follow a sinuous road that goes to that valley. Strewn along the hills are the cuevas, or caves of the Sacromonte - the name of the neighbourhood. Yesterday, he played in a concert series which is dedicated to Enrique Morente. July 31, 2011. I arrived on Wednesday and have been spending my time with rediscovering the wonderful streets of the Albaicín. After 7 years, I forgot a lot of things and some places have changed. But the city is still the same. I'm so happy to be here. Terrace view from Carmen de las Cuevas school in the Albaicín. Right now I'm sitting on one of the beautiful school terraces. June 25, 2012. The 'lasts' are beginning. Three weeks left in Sevilla. The period of 'lasts' is starting. tomorrow is my last dance class with the bata de cola. I had my last bulerías class two weeks ago. I get to practice a couple of more times before the school closes. There have already been last drinks with friends who have left, last hugs, last affirmations to stay in touch on Facebook. View of Sevilla from the Metropol Parasol.
