Sunday, December 29, 2013. Christmas / Palm Springs / Emergency Room / Oh My. Derek and I spent Christmas week in Palm Springs with his family! Christmas was NOT a merry one for us this year. Somehow, 8 out of 10 of us ended up in the Emergency Room on Christmas day with a bad Stomach Virus. The nurses could not even believe it was happening when we were coming in to the ER one after another between Tuesday night and Thursday morning. Derek was one of the only 2 that didn't get sick! Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Wine Tasting in Ojai. Last weekend Derek and I had a little stay-cation at his parents house in Oxnard. There is nothing more relaxing than waking up with a view of the water. love. Saturday we went Wine Tasting at the Old Creek Ranch Road Winery in Ojai. Such a perfect day to sit outside with a glass of vino. It's a small winery but so gorgeous and peaceful. I obviously took the opportunity to add 2 bottles to my personal stash.
