Saturday, December 31, 2011. I think I just ran my first mile. Let me back up. A mile(s), just never consecutively (I don't think- though there was one time a month or so ago I think I may have in the middle of a workout and not realized it). Not only that, but it was a 12 minute mile exactly (Unplanned. In fact, I was aiming for 15, sad as that sounds! Are, my legs felt OK: good even (until I slowed down! But today I proved I can push through the pain, be it physical or mental. I know MANY people walk.

Sunday, February 23, 2014. It was my Dad's 71st birthday! So duh. We had to go to Denny's before work to claim my Dad's free grand slam. But more importantly, WHO AM I? I've gone my whole life thinking bacon (especially nitrite-filled bacon) was the most vile food on the planet until now? I still don't love it, but I was craving it that morning. WHAT? I did the pick 4 build your own grand slam and obviously had fruit, BACON, eggs, and my daily (unpictured) caffeine drip. Okay, I think I can calm down down.
