Make Me a Believer | Wild Heart Scribe
https://dmariedoucette.wordpress.com/2015/05/25/make-me-a-believer-2
Life, love, and the pursuit of things lost or longed for. Make Me a Believer. Nothing has changed…. Everything I give to you. I give from the abundance. I am genuinely imperfect. Can stop my flow. I wouldn’t turn the knob. I would seep under. I would bleed through the wood. To get to you. No wall of fear. You can hide behind. Can keep me from finding you. I wouldn’t scale it. I would blast it to bits. To be with you. No river of regret. You can succumb to. Can keep me on the shore. I wouldn’t swim across.

Life, love, and the pursuit of things lost or longed for. After receiving 30 nominations in a short period of time, I became quite overwhelmed with guilt at being unable to accept them because they are so time-consuming. So, for that reason I no longer “accept” nominations, but I readily accept the love behind them and am grateful for any recognition I receive. Received on April 7, 2013. Nominated by http:/ petitemagique.wordpress.com/. Received on March 15, 2013. Received on February 28, 2013. I nominat...

A New Beginning …. Poetry of Love and Life. All posts tagged Family. In Awe of You. Posted by Heather's Starting End. On December 9, 2015. Tagged: a mothers love. In awe I’m halted as you glisten,. Your glow, your beauty, abounds. My Dear sweet one, you have never known. What once lost, in you I’ve found. There is no scale precise enough. To measure all my love. There is no day, long enough. To give thanks to God above. Stunning you don’t realize. The beauty that you hold. Your heart, your soul,. I hope ...

No Longer Quiet | Noah Matthews
https://noahmatthews.wordpress.com/2013/09/04/no-longer-quiet
September 4, 2013. I would pull you into me. My breath in your hair. The rise and fall of your belly against mine…. Until we are quiet. I would pull you into me. Arms wrapped around you. Until our hearts shared a single rhythmic tune. Until we are quiet. I would pull you into me. Whisper in your ear. To dance unashamed and so we would begin. Dance in the Light. Bathed in the mercy of God’s love. From → Fiction. Very excellent display of wordplay. Thanks for reading and commenting. Enter your comment here.

Missing You | Noah Matthews
https://noahmatthews.wordpress.com/2013/08/24/missing-you
August 24, 2013. It is strange to think. That on a day like this. Under a sky so blue. The sun dragging its fingers across my skin. Pines whispering in response to unseen breezes. Here in such beauty. My heart is cleaved in two. And I miss you so much. That this beauty hurts. From → Poetry. The suddenness of your heart “cleaved in two” makes this poem startling. It lets the reader feel the sadness of that setting too. I know this feeling too well. Thank you for reading and sharing. Enter your comment here.

Land Ahead | It's Only Natural.
https://onlynatural.wordpress.com/2012/02/28/land-ahead
It’s Only Natural. The anchors of our hearts brought us through the daunting billows of tumultuous times,. Where we now have torn down,. The imprisoning hesitations of diving into each other’s very souls. Your words, like waves, wash over me and recede,. Leaving a feeling of profound okayness,. On the shores of my spirit. My chaotic habits and anxious inhibitions. Amongst the shipwrecks,. Tangle in the seaweed,. And in time become forgotten in the. No compass on board,. Yet I see land ahead.

Redress Me | Wild Heart Scribe
https://dmariedoucette.wordpress.com/2014/09/27/redress-me-2
Life, love, and the pursuit of things lost or longed for. Don’t dress me in this. With the prickly underside. That replaces the radiance. With what can’t be seen. Don’t dress me in this. Beneath the Belgian lace. That chides my childlike joy. With what can’t be spoken. Don’t dress me in this. Pulled through each stitch. That bullies my being. With what can’t be solved. Don’t dress me in this. This hang off me reaction. In the too tight sleeves. That crowds our conviction. With what can’t be sure. Enter y...
