Sunday, February 10, 2008. All I can see is THANK GOD. I found this site. This site has helped me tremendously with dealing with my current situation. Yes, we have a lawyer but I wasn't completely knowledgeable with the process! I must say after reading this site it helped me tremendously with composing my HSL. Saturday, December 15, 2007. Husband EWI in 1988 as a minor, sent to a social services place for people under 18. Husband has to leave social services place after 10 days to make room for other people coming into facility (facility rules). Husband leaves to another state for work. Husband is supposed to go to court but never receives letter, it is sent to social services place. Husband is apprehended in 1994 and is told he has an order of deportation ordered in absentia. Husband and I meet in 1994.
