If they complete this homework, they can earn extra stickers for their sticker chart (this chart has proved to be motivating for most of my students). In order to improve, we need to follow basic rules in the speech room. 1 During a lesson, only share things that will help us learn. Save personal items for the beginning or end of speech. 3 Be a good listener. 4 Try your hardest! 5 Always feel free to ask questions. Looking forward to a great year in speech!

Because each child in my room has their own IEP, goals, and areas of weakness, I do not have set expectations for each child, other than they try their best and continue to learn independence. I also expect that we all work on developing each child's ability to be independent. I try to focus on what each student can do rather than what they cannot.
