October 14, 2016. Bush Walking in Mundaring. Our two-person hiking team has relocated to the Aussie bush. We picked up the hobby of hiking in Japan, and our first chance to get out in Australia came last Sunday when we took a wander down the Bibbulmun Track in Mundaring. After reaching a look out point, we walked a little more on the Bibbulmun until we met up with Kattamordo walking trail to loop back around to the weir, and finally ended up back at the hotel for a good pub lunch. Saturday, February 7, 2015. This christmas, i decided to make terrariums for all of my close friends. it was such an adventure and so much fun. i got a pack of 100 tiny train model people for $12 on amazon, tiny succulents from home depot, and lots and lots of glass containers from thrift stores for $1 each, and put it all together. i thought they turned out pretty great :). Saturday, February 21, 2015. I've been getting back into letter writing lately :) i have a hashtag on instagram - #linasletters. I believe i have about fifteen penpals at the moment and it can be overwhelming at times, but i love it anyways! I love all of the stationary, making my envelopes, deciding how i will decorate each letter from the outside-in, gathering items to send with the letter, and more. i have even bought a postage scale to weigh my letters!
