Japanese Baseball Cards: Card Makers
http://japanesebaseballcards.blogspot.com/p/card-makers.html
An English Guide To Baseball Cards From Japan. This is a summary of all the major card makers from Japan, listed in roughly chronological order. If I've written a post about the type or maker, I'll include a link to it here. Feel free to nitpick my selection of sets and makers - my feeling was that these were the most common cards that someone in the US was likely to come across on something like eBay. The only other common cards that I'm really not getting in here are menko and bromide cards. BBM (1991-...

Japanese Baseball Cards: Kazuo Matsui
http://japanesebaseballcards.blogspot.com/2015/08/kazuo-matsui.html
An English Guide To Baseball Cards From Japan. Monday, August 3, 2015. Last Tuesday Kazuo Matsui of the Eagles got his 2000th hit in NPB. This isn't quite as big of a milestone as it would have been as Matsui had already made the Meikyukai back in 2009 when his combined NPB and MLB hit total reached 2000. He does become only the fourth player to have 2000 hits in NPB plus at least one hit in MLB (behind Hideki Matsui, Norihiro Nakamura and Alex Ramirez). Here's a sampling of his cards:. By running guys o...

Japanese Baseball Cards: Where To Buy Japanese Cards
http://japanesebaseballcards.blogspot.com/p/where-to-buy-japanese-cards.html
An English Guide To Baseball Cards From Japan. Where To Buy Japanese Cards. As I see it, there are about four ways to buy Japanese baseball cards in the United States:. 1 eBay - eBay is probably the best place to find Japanese baseball cards although it is very inconsistent - you never know what you're going to find. And, of course, in many cases you have to deal with the frustration of being out-bid on something. But for volume and variety, it's tough to beat what's out there on eBay. Hey John, I think ...

An English Guide To Baseball Cards From Japan. Sunday, July 26, 2015. Card Of The Week July 26. I was looking at the all time leaders for grand slams in NPB that Yakyu Baka published the other day due to Takeya Nakamura tying Sadaharu Oh for the lead. And there was a name that stuck out at me as being an odd one on the list. I'll reproduce the list here:. Maybe it's not obvious - let's do the list again with each player's career home run totals:. Looking into this a little deeper. Labels: Card Of The Week.
