The 520 Chain Cafe. I got the clutch on, and started polishing the clutch cover, so the bottom end is just about ready to button up. I've got the cylinder porting nearly done. I just need to finish up with sand paper and polish the exhaust port, and then get it out for boring. I'm using a complete seal kit from Rusty Riders. The 520 Chain Cafe. I got started on fitting the DT1 front fender. Here are the adapter brackets roughed in to see if it would work. They are cut from an old XS front fender. I like it at this height, so just need to finish the brackets off, and restore the fender. I need to finish the wiring on the new regulator and rectifier, and the mechanical work I wanted to do will be done. DT1 flat track project. I ended up going with a new 30mm carb for the DT. The 520 Chain Cafe. The head pipe was just slightly too large to fit the DT manifold, so I made four cuts, shrunk it, and welded the cuts. The silver paint was just to mark how far it needed to go when fully seated in the manifold. I need to do some work on the rear fender. It is for a later year DT, so I have to modify the rear mounts so it clears the frame, and also make a patch panel to fix where the tail light use to mount. The 520 Chain Cafe. Chanute Air Museum closing. Sadly, barring a miracle the Chanute Air Museum. I little while after taking this picture riding along I heard a tink-tink-tink, which turned out to be the little clutch adjuster cover falling off. This is Case Arena. The 520 Chain Cafe. I sandblasted most of the steel parts on the bike, and should have them all painted by the end of the week. It is in super nice shape. It came with the swingarm, and title. It's all broke down and ready to sandblast and paint. Rather than making the late DT fender fit, I bought an early fender which fits the frame. The rear mount is the main difference between the two. The late fender fits the early frame, but touches the frame loop if you don't modify the mounts. NO FUTURE TOKYO -.
